Sathyamurthy N P (popularly known as Sathya) as President & Head DDB MudraMax, Media, heads the media business nationally. In 2014, Sathya was elevated to the Executive Board of the DDB Mudra Group.

With a Masters degree in Zoology from the Annamalai University, in Tamil Nadu, Sathya comes with 25 years of professional experience and has worked with a prestigious set of brands such as Adidas, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Electricals, BPCL, Cadila Laboratories, Castrol, Dhara, Dove range, Heinz India, HLL, Jyothy Labs, Lakme, Paras, Philips, Ponds, Reebok, Samsonite, Tata Capital, Union Bank and Unit Trust of India among others.
Sathya’s career experience spans field sales, strategic media planning, media buying and management, consumer research & insights. He loves collaborating with stake holders for generating great brand solution ideas.
Sathya has also served as Director General, Media Research Users Council (MRUC) for three years, during which time, he was an active participant in bringing out syndicated research products such as the Indian Research Survey (IRS), Indian Listenership Track (ILT), and the New Consumer Classification System.
His last stint, before joining DDB Mudra Group was with Lintas Media Group as COO and CEO of Karishma Initiative, apart from working with some of India’s leading agencies including Carat Media Services, Euro RSCG and Ogilvy & Mather.

A proud father of a 15 year old daughter Nandini, Sathya likes music, the internet, Bible reading and exercising.
