Preeti Verma always wanted to design clothes and for the longest time had stuck to merely designing clothes for herself. Then one day, she began designing for others and about nine months ago she found that she had her first collection ready to exhibit. She called her brand Runaway Bicycle and in the beginning, the designs represented stuff that she would love to wear herself. It is still not all about being fashionable and up to date with the trends. Her hallmark rather is simple designs that will stay contemporary irrespective of the trends.
Amit Kekre had always nursed a keen interest in fashion and wanted to pursue his passion in some way. He has called the label ‘Totally Ripe’…a label that aims to take men’s clothing out of morbid monotones and add a little bit of colour and spunk to it. He has begun with bow-ties…who knows where it goes tomorrow!
